1 month ago | 324 notesI wanted them to show that Cato cared for Clove, that she wasn’t just another person in the games. I wanted them to show that he could feel and that he loved her. I wanted to see him destroyed because of her death, i wanted to see him beg her to stay with him. I wanted to see him break down the walls of strength and cruelty he had built, just to be in pain for Clove. I wanted to see him get so mad and want revenge, that he takes on Thresh and manages to kill him. I wanted people to know that Cato wasn’t just a killing machine, he cared for Clove. He cared for the girl with the knives.
I know a lot of people say, “No he just cared, because two tributes could win.” That’s not true. Two tributes were ALLOWED to win, that didn’t mean he couldn’t win without her. He could have won the Games by himself, yet he was broken over her death and wanted her to stay with him.
I will NEVER forgive Gary for taking that away from me. I will never forget that i didn’t get my Clato, that i didn’t get to see his love. I will also NEVER forgive the fact that they just threw Glimmer at Cato, that they slept next to each other and she used his arm as a pillow…that should have been Clove.legit.
